Cleris's take
Canossa Catholic had one Phase 2C ballot in 2023 — a single occurrence rather than an established pattern. For Catholic families, Phase 2B affiliation is the natural entry point; for everyone else, Phase 2C has generally been manageable. It's worth watching if the ballot pattern returns, but this isn't a school that requires you to stress over address right now.

Cleris's take
The ballots here have been concentrated among PRs from further away — Phase 2C at PR>2, and Phase 2CS at SC>2. SC families in the immediate area have generally had easy access without a ballot. If you're an SC family buying near the school, you're looking at comfortable Phase 2C entry; PRs should be aware that closer proximity helps but isn't a complete buffer.

Cleris's take
Haig Girls' had one Phase 2C ballot in 2023 at PR<1 — PRs within 1km faced competition that year, but SC families have generally had easy access. If you have a daughter and are buying near the Haig Road / Kembangan area, the registration environment has been relaxed for SC families — though PRs should be more aware of proximity.

Cleris's take
Maha Bodhi is a Buddhist-values school that draws families from beyond the immediate Geylang neighbourhood, and that shows up in the ballot pattern — Phase 2C has landed at SC<1 in most years, with additional ballot activity across Phase 2A and 2B. The multi-phase pressure tells you this school's appeal isn't purely geographic. If Phase 2C is your route, the 1km ring is your most reliable lever.

Cleris's take
Mee Toh has balloted in Phase 2C every year at SC<1, with 119–153 applicants for 101–130 vacancies. That's one of the most consistently oversubscribed patterns in the Geylang/Paya Lebar area. If this is your target, the 1km ring is essential — and even then, a ballot is the likely outcome rather than the exception.
† Vacancies remained after the ballot closed — demand was real but not extreme.
